This friction disc spacer sits between the clutch pack discs inside the gearbox, maintaining the correct stack height and clamping load. It separates the friction discs from the steel reaction plates, ensuring consistent engagement and disengagement of the clutch pack. A worn or incorrectly sized spacer reduces clamp force, leading to clutch slip, heat buildup, and eventual gearbox damage. As an original AGCO component, its thickness is machined to the original stack-height specification, so no shimming or adjustment is needed during installation. Replace the spacer whenever the clutch discs are replaced, and verify that the housing sealing surfaces are clean before reassembly.
