This steering orbitrol is the hydraulic control unit that translates steering-wheel rotation into directional movement of the tractor's front wheels. It sits between the steering column and the steering cylinder, metering oil flow to the cylinder in proportion to the input angle. A worn or leaking orbitrol produces loose steering feel, delayed response, or uneven turning effort. As an original AGCO component, it is machined to the same internal spool and sleeve tolerances as the assembly it replaces, so no shimming or flow adjustment is needed during installation. Replace the O-rings on the port faces when reinstalling.
