This PTO clutch locking ring secures the clutch pack on the power take-off shaft of the host tractor. It sits between the clutch hub and the retaining nut, preventing axial movement of the clutch plates under load. A worn or missing ring allows the clutch pack to shift, causing incomplete engagement and driveline chatter. This original AGCO component is formed to the same thickness as the factory ring, so the clutch pack maintains its designed stack height and preload without requiring shims. On reinstallation, ensure the ring seats fully in its groove before torquing the retaining nut.
