This air conditioning pressure sensor monitors refrigerant pressure in the tractor cabin climate system. It sends a voltage signal to the electronic control unit, which uses the reading to engage or disengage the compressor clutch and control the condenser fan speed. The sensor is mounted on the engine, typically on the high-pressure side of the refrigerant loop. A failed sensor can cause the compressor to cycle erratically or remain locked out, resulting in no cooling output. The original AGCO part matches the electrical connector interface and the pressure-switching thresholds programmed into the host tractor's ECU, so no calibration or adapter harness is needed. When replacing, ensure the O-ring seal is clean and seated before tightening.
