This draft-force sensor measures the tensile load in the rear three-point linkage and sends a corresponding electrical signal to the tractor’s electronic control unit. It is mounted on the lift arm and acts as the primary input for the position and draft control system, allowing the ECU to adjust implement depth automatically based on drawbar load. A failed or inaccurate sensor causes erratic hitch response, such as unintended lift or failure to maintain a set working depth. As an original AGCO component, the sensor body and internal strain-gauge assembly are calibrated to the same output curve as the original factory unit, so the control system reads the correct load value without recalibration. When replacing, ensure the wiring harness connector is fully seated and free of corrosion.
