Product Description

This PTO gear transmits engine torque from the tractor's power take-off shaft to the driven implement. It is mounted inside the PTO housing and meshes with the mating gear on the output shaft. A worn gear produces a high-pitched whine or chattering sound during engagement, and can cause the PTO to slip or fail to engage fully. The original AGCO-manufactured gear is cut to the same tooth profile and helix angle as the original assembly, so it maintains the correct backlash and load distribution without requiring shimming or adjustment. On installation, inspect the bearing surfaces and replace the housing seal before reassembly.
