This electric PTO sensor monitors the rotational status of the power take-off shaft and sends a signal to the tractor's control system. It is mounted at the PTO housing and reports whether the shaft is engaged or stationary, which the system uses to enable or disable downstream functions such as implement lift or ground-speed control. A failed sensor may cause the PTO to remain engaged when disengaged, or prevent engagement entirely, leading to operational delays.
