This hydraulic oil filter removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before fluid reaches the pump and control valves. It is installed in the filter housing on the return side of the system, where it captures wear debris from actuators and pumps. A clogged filter element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerate wear on precision components such as spool valves and piston pumps. As an original AGCO part, the filter media and bypass-valve cracking pressure are matched to the housing geometry, ensuring the valve opens only when the element is fully loaded. Replace the filter at the interval specified in the machine maintenance schedule, and inspect the housing seal for damage during reinstallation.
