This vibration damper is installed in the clutch system of the host tractor. It reduces torsional oscillations transmitted from the engine to the drivetrain, smoothing engagement and disengagement of the clutch. A failed damper allows excessive vibration through the drivetrain, which can cause gear rattle, premature wear on the transmission input shaft, and operator discomfort. The damper is a genuine AGCO component, machined to match the original spline profile and outer diameter so it seats correctly in the clutch hub without modification. On installation, ensure the damper is oriented to match the rotation direction of the clutch disc.
