This clutch housing seal ring sits between the clutch housing and the gearbox, preventing oil leakage at the joint face. It is an original AGCO-manufactured component, machined to the same profile as the original seal so it seats correctly in the housing groove without deformation. A worn or compressed seal allows gearbox oil to migrate past the joint, which can contaminate the clutch friction surfaces and cause slip or grab. On reinstallation, clean both mating faces and ensure the ring is fully seated before tightening the housing bolts to the specified torque.
