This pressure valve regulates the air pressure inside the cab of the host tractor. It maintains a stable internal pressure to reduce dust ingress through unsealed openings and to support the operation of the cab's climate-control system. When the valve fails to hold its set pressure, the cab loses positive pressure, allowing dust and fumes to enter and reducing the effectiveness of the cabin filtration system. As an original AGCO component, the valve is calibrated to the same cracking and reseat pressures as the assembly it replaces, so the cab's pressurization and ventilation balance are preserved without adjustment.
