This water pump gasket seals the joint between the water pump and the engine block in the cooling system of the host tractor. It prevents coolant leakage at the pump mounting face, maintaining system pressure and flow to the radiator and engine passages. A degraded gasket allows coolant to escape, leading to air ingress, localized hot spots, and eventual overheating. The gasket is an original AGCO component, formed to the same thickness and compression characteristics as the factory-installed part so that the pump sits at the correct depth and the seal compresses evenly. On reinstallation, clean both mating surfaces thoroughly and torque the pump mounting bolts to the specified value.
