This switch is mounted in the side console of the host tractor and controls the engagement of the power take-off shaft. It sends an electrical signal to the PTO clutch solenoid, which in turn connects or disconnects driveline torque to the rear or mid PTO output. A failing switch may cause intermittent PTO engagement or a complete failure to engage, even when the dashboard indicator shows the circuit is active. As an original AGCO component, the switch body and internal contacts are dimensioned to match the console cutout and connector harness, so no adapter wiring or panel modification is needed for installation.
