This hydraulic filter element removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic oil before it circulates through the system. It mounts inside the filter housing on the return side of the hydraulic loop, where trapped debris protects downstream components such as control valves and the pump from abrasive wear. A fully loaded element forces the bypass valve to open, allowing unfiltered oil to pass; replacing the element at the correct interval restores full filtration and prevents pressure drops that can cause sluggish implement response. As an original AGCO component, the element uses a media pack that matches the housing’s internal seal geometry to ensure the bypass valve seats properly. On reinstallation, replace the housing O-ring and torque the cap to specification.
