Product Description
This left-side bayonet secures the header's outer sheet metal or panel to the frame structure. It engages with the mating receptacle on the header end, providing a quick-attach point that holds the panel in alignment during operation. Vibration or impact can loosen the bayonet's grip, allowing the panel to shift and create gaps that admit crop debris. The original AGCO part matches the header's hole spacing and diameter so that the bayonet seats fully without forcing. On reinstallation, confirm the bayonet is fully rotated into the locked position and that the retaining clip, if present, is engaged.
