A worn pulley bearing or a misaligned pulley face produces belt squeal and reduces fan speed, which can lead to elevated coolant temperatures under load. The pulley is machined to the same bore and bolt-hole geometry as the original assembly, so it seats on the bracket without requiring shims or adapter rings.
