This valve controls hydraulic flow within the gearbox of the host tractor. It directs pressurized oil to the clutch packs and shift elements, managing the engagement sequence that selects the operating range. A worn or leaking valve causes delayed shifting, clutch slip, or loss of drive under load. The valve body is machined to match the original bore geometry so that internal clearances remain within the factory specification. On reinstallation, clean the mounting face and replace the sealing gasket to prevent cross-port leakage.
