This throttle cable transmits the operator's accelerator command from the pedal or hand lever to the engine's fuel-injection pump. It connects the control input at the cab end to the throttle lever on the pump, governing engine speed in response to driver demand. A worn or stretched cable introduces slack, causing delayed throttle response and an inability to reach full engine RPM. As an original AGCO component, the cable is constructed to the same end-fitting geometry and conduit length as the factory assembly, so no bracket modification or cable routing changes are needed during replacement. On installation, verify full travel of the throttle lever at both idle and wide-open positions, and secure the cable housing at both ends to prevent chafing.
