This bearing shell assembly fits into the straw-walker mechanism of a grain harvester. It supports the rotating shaft that drives the walker cranks, reducing friction between the steel shaft and the housing. The set includes two half shells, two retaining plates, and four self-locking nuts. A worn shell increases clearance, causing the shaft to knock against the housing and accelerating wear on both components. On installation, ensure the shell halves seat fully in the bore and torque the retaining-plate nuts to specification.
