AGV - B103181 - Claas Autocontour Skid

This skid, identified as a right-side or left-side component by its mounting orientation, serves as the wear surface for the header's ground-contour following system. It is bolted to the underside of the header frame and slides along the ground, allowing the cutterbar to maintain a consistent cutting height over uneven terrain. As the skid wears, the header's ground pressure distribution changes, which can lead to stubble-height variation and increased risk of stone impact on the cutterbar. The mounting holes are positioned to match the original header bracket pattern, and the chain length is set to match the original linkage geometry. When replacing, transfer any existing wear plates or spacers to the new skid and torque the mounting bolts to the specification for the header frame.
