Pumps for dirty water are used when there is a need to get rid of contaminated liquids - for example after severe floods, from polluted ponds or tanks, and during dewatering of construction excavations. Then, in addition to water, the device must also pump impurities, which significantly increases the load on the material and the motor. It is good if it is an AL-KO pump. Thanks to the special impeller geometry, the Drain 10000 Comfort model can pump even heavily soiled water with a suspended particle content of up to 5% and impurities up to 30 mm in diameter. The maintenance-free motor, specially prepared stainless steel motor shaft and glass fibre reinforced polypropylene housing guarantee a long service life for AL-KO dirty water submersible pumps. The AL-KO Drain 10000 Comfort submersible pump is equipped with a float switch and automatically starts the pumping process when the appropriate water level is reached. The maximum immersion depth of the pump is 5 m. With a delivery head of up to 8 m, it allows even greater depths to be overcome. The pump outlet has a size of 1.25 inches, which is approximately 41.9 mm. The 90° elbow connector has a universal connection, and thanks to the included hose nipple, all available hose sizes can be connected. Note: This garden pump is not suitable for drinking water, but only for service water with a temperature below 35° C. It is also not suitable for use in salt water or water containing aggressive chemicals.
