This hydraulic filter element removes particulate contamination from the oil circulating in the parent harvester's hydraulic system. It is installed in the return line housing, where it captures wear debris from pumps and actuators before the oil re-enters the reservoir. A clogged element forces the integrated bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to pass downstream, which accelerates wear on the pump and control valves. The filter uses a 1-12 UNF thread for a sealed connection to the housing. Replace the housing seal and torque the cap to specification during installation.
