This holder secures the auger finger to the auger tube on the header of a grain harvester. It positions the finger so that it can retract and extend as the auger rotates, guiding crop material toward the feeder house. A worn or damaged holder allows the finger to shift, which causes uneven feeding and can lead to auger binding. This genuine part is cast to the same profile as the original, so the finger seats correctly in its slot without modification.
