DIRKO HT OXIMIC SEALANT Dirko HT oxime (neutral curing) are high-quality, high-temperature resistant, one-component silicone-based sealants that exhibit permanently elastic behavior. They have very good adhesion to all common metals, cast iron, plastics (except PE, PP and PTFE) and glass. Through reaction with atmospheric moisture, Dirko HT oxime cures into silicone. The product is characterized by a very wide range of applications. Resistant to mineral oils (also with additives), synthetic oils, lubricating greases, coolants, UV radiation, cold and hot water, salt water, cleaning agents, weak acids and alkalis. Possible application areas: valve cover, oil pan, water and oil pump, differential housing, gearbox housing, gearbox oil pan, thermostat housing, control housing, axle cover, flange connection, headlight, tail light, battery box. • Skin formation time: 5 - 10 min (23 °C, 50 % relative humidity) • Curing time: approx. 4,5 mm / 24 h (23 °C, 50 % relative humidity) • Maximum sealing gap: 2,0 mm • Temperature range: –60 °C to +285 °C (short-term up to +315 °C) • Optimal storage conditions: cool (+5 °C to +25 °C) and dry
