EL-ADD 48 HIGH-STRENGTH RETAINING COMPOUND Is a high-strength, label-free, anaerobic retaining compound, particularly suitable for fastening bearings and shafts. It is characterized by fast handling strength and excellent temperature resistance. Under exclusion of air and metallic contact with the connecting components, a media- and temperature-resistant sealing film forms and cures. Resistant to oil, grease, fuel, coolant, cold and hot water, salt water and much more. • Handling strength: 5 – 15 min • Functional strength: 3 – 6 h • Final strength: 12 – 24 h • Maximum gap filling capacity: 0,25 mm • Temperature range: –55 °C to +180 °C • Optimal storage conditions: cool (+5 °C to +23 °C), dry and dark
