This knife grinding device restores the cutting edge on both straight and curved knives used in balers and other harvesting equipment. It mounts on a mobile lower frame and uses a special cup grinding wheel driven by a 1.1 kW motor. The grinding angle and length are infinitely adjustable, and a side rotation limiter prevents the wheel from cutting beyond the knife edge. A built-in cooling device circulates fluid to the grinding interface, preventing heat buildup that would soften the knife’s hardened edge. The table includes predefined radius guides to simplify positioning for common knife profiles. Knife changes require no tools. The unit requires a 400 V supply and is wired without a plug.
