Nord-Lock safety washers are designed to secure screw connections, even under extreme vibrations or dynamic loads. This system locks the screw itself by utilizing different angles, where the expansion of the washer pair is greater than the longitudinal displacement along the thread. It secures the screw connection through pre-tensioning rather than friction.
