This rivet secures a metering component to the seed drill frame. It passes through the aligned holes of the assembly and is deformed on the opposite side to create a permanent mechanical lock. A loose or missing rivet allows the attached part to shift, which disrupts seed metering accuracy. The conical head sits flush with the surface, reducing the risk of snagging on crop residue or adjacent hardware.
