This fuel filter set removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before it reaches the injection system. It installs in the fuel line between the tank and the primary pump, where it protects the high-pressure components from abrasive contamination. A restricted filter reduces fuel flow, which can cause hard starting, power loss, or erratic engine operation under load. The assembly uses the same sealing geometry as the original housing, so the filter seats correctly and the drain valve functions as intended. Replace the filter at the interval specified for the host machine, and bleed the system after installation to remove trapped air.
