This chain assembly drives the paddle conveyor that moves grain across the straw walkers in the cleaning section of a combine harvester. It transmits motion from the drive sprocket to the paddle bars, which sweep material toward the rear of the machine. A worn or stretched chain causes paddle timing to drift, leading to uneven material flow and reduced separation efficiency. The set includes a half link for length adjustment during installation. This component is manufactured to match the original chain pitch and link geometry so that it seats correctly on the existing sprockets without requiring modification to the drive system.
