Product Description

This metal bushing fits into the front axle suspension arm of the host tractor. It acts as a bearing surface between the axle housing and the arm, allowing controlled pivoting while absorbing radial loads from the chassis. Wear on the bushing bore or outer diameter produces play in the suspension arm, which leads to steering wander and uneven tire contact. The bushing is pressed into the arm bore; on replacement, the bore should be cleaned of debris and the bushing driven in squarely to avoid distortion.
