JAG - 625884.01 - Claas Air Conditioning Thermostat

This air conditioning thermostat controls the refrigerant flow to maintain the set cabin temperature in the host harvesting machine. It is installed in the HVAC loop between the compressor and the evaporator, where it cycles the compressor clutch on and off based on the evaporator core temperature. A failed thermostat can cause the compressor to run continuously, leading to evaporator icing and reduced cooling output, or to cycle too frequently, which reduces system efficiency. The JAG-manufactured component is built to match the original switch-point calibration of the assembly it replaces, so the compressor engages and disengages at the correct temperature thresholds. When installing, ensure the sensing bulb is properly seated in its clip and the capillary tube is routed without sharp bends.
