Mann Filter - CF2944 - Engine Safety Air Filter

This engine air filter element, designated CF2944 and manufactured by Mann-Filter, serves as the primary particulate barrier for the intake air entering the engine. It is installed in the air cleaner housing on the engine, upstream of the mass airflow sensor and turbocharger inlet. The filter media captures airborne dust and debris before they can enter the combustion chambers, protecting the cylinders, piston rings, and bearings from abrasive wear. A clogged or bypassing filter element allows unfiltered air to reach the engine, causing a gradual loss of power and increased fuel consumption as the intake restriction rises. The filter is a replacement component designed to match the original housing's seal geometry and pleat density, ensuring the correct filtration efficiency and air flow capacity for the host tractor. On installation, verify that the sealing surfaces are clean and that the element is fully seated in its housing groove before closing the cover.
