Product Description

This chain link is the tensioning component for the drive chain on a Monosem precision seed drill. It sits in the chain loop between the metering-unit sprockets and the tensioner arm, taking up slack to maintain consistent engagement with the sprocket teeth. A worn or stretched link allows the chain to skip, causing the metering disc to rotate irregularly and seed spacing to drift. This original link is formed to the same pitch and roller profile as the factory chain, so it seats correctly in the sprocket pockets without forcing the chain out of alignment.
