This seed disc meters small-seeded crops such as onion, cabbage, millet, tomato, and rapeseed. It mounts on the metering hub of the seeder unit and rotates to pick up individual seeds from the hopper, then releases them into the seed tube for placement in the furrow. The disc’s hole pattern and diameter determine the seed drop rate and spacing. A worn or damaged disc causes skips or doubles in the seed row, reducing emergence uniformity. This original component matches the hub’s drive pins and vacuum seal geometry, so no adapter or shimming is needed for correct alignment.
