Product Description

This roller chain transmits rotary motion from the metering drive shaft to the fertilizer distribution disc on the spreader. It engages with the sprockets on both shafts to maintain a fixed ratio between the agitator and the disc speed. A worn or stretched chain causes uneven fertilizer delivery, leading to streaking in the application pattern. As an original component, the chain is manufactured to the same pitch and link count as the assembly it replaces, so the tensioner adjustment range remains correct without modification.
