This chain transmits drive from the feeder housing drum to the inclined conveyor slats, moving crop material up into the threshing unit. It is a roller-type chain designed for the high-tension, high-load environment of the inclined conveyor system. Wear in the chain links or pins causes elongation, which leads to slat misalignment and reduced conveying efficiency. As an original-equipment component from Rollon, the chain is manufactured to the same pitch and roller geometry as the factory assembly, so it engages the sprockets without requiring adjustments to the conveyor tensioning system.
