The basis is an opto-electrical measuring principle, which determines the speed with high precision using a reflective marker strip on the shaft. Contact speed measurement is achieved by using a contact adapter, which is attached to the sensor and rests on the rotating component during measurement. Here too, the measurement result is highly accurate. For particularly small surfaces, the use of the focusing adapter facilitates data acquisition.
