Long-life air filter system.
The long-life air filter system significantly extends the operating periods between filter cleanings.
Larger and heavier particles are thrown outwards by centrifugal force, and then additionally thrown upwards by the rising ramp.

SIDE CHAIN TENSIONER
The tensioning screw is turned with a special knob passing through the cover of the chain sprocket.
This avoids hand contact with the sharp saw chain and bumper spike teeth.
CARBURETTOR PREHEATING SYSTEM
STIHL chainsaws equipped with a carburettor preheating system are reliable even when it is cold outside: in winter operating mode, heated air flows around the carburettor.
