SIDE CHAIN TENSIONER
The tensioning screw is turned with a special knob passing through the cover of the chain sprocket.
This makes it possible to avoid hand contact with the sharp saw chain and bumper spike teeth.

The STIHL Ematic system consists of an Ematic guide bar, Oilomatic saw chain, and an oil pump with adjustable output or reduced oil delivery.
The special design of the guide bar and saw chain ensures that every drop of oil reaches exactly those places on the saw chain where it is most needed.
This allows a reduction in lubricating oil consumption for the saw chain by up to 50%.
