DURABLE AIR FILTER SYSTEM FOR CHAINSAWS:
The pre-filter removes coarse, larger particles from the air stream before they reach the actual filter. The HD2 filter keeps even fine dust away from the engine, ensuring long engine life, long intervals between cleaning and easy maintenance of the chainsaw. Only when equipped with a pre-filter and HD2 filter can we speak of a durable air filtration system for chainsaws. This system provides significantly longer filter life compared to traditional air filtration systems.
This 2-stroke engine has been designed to require infrequent maintenance and to consume fuel even at high power. As fuel, a mixture of gasoline and engine oil should be used. The STIHL 2 Mix engine meets the requirements of the strict EU exhaust emission directive, level V.
When increasing the power of the device, vibrations are generated that are particularly noticeable in the handle area. The buffer elements and springs of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and thus to the user's body. Effect: The device sits more comfortably in the hand and work is much less tiring.
The adjustment system in the carburetor, the compensator, through pressure equalization ensures that despite increasing dirtiness of the air filter, engine power, exhaust quality and fuel consumption remain almost unchanged for a long time. Therefore, the air filter should only be cleaned after a clear drop in parameters. This allows work without maintenance for a long time.
The side chain tensioner enables safe, easy and quick tensioning and replacement of the chain. The tensioning screw is accessible from the side through the chain drive cover.
The STIHL Ematic system consists of the STIHL Ematic or Ematic S guide bar, the STIHL Oilomatic saw chain and an oil pump with flow adjustment. It guarantees that chain oil reaches where it is needed for lubrication. This allows oil consumption to be reduced by up to 50%. When working in conditions of high dust or using long guide bars, the amount of oil can be easily and quickly increased at any time thanks to the new oil pump system.
TOOL-FREE OIL TANK CLOSURE:
Thanks to the tool-free tank closure, the oil and fuel tank can be easily opened and closed using a bayonet closure.
