STIHL 2-MIX engine
During the scavenging process, a layer of air not containing fuel is placed between the exhaust gases being expelled and a fresh portion of the mixture in the engine's crankcase. This air cushion reduces fuel losses occurring in connection with the cylinder scavenging process – thus protecting the operator's health and the natural environment.
The STIHL compensator located in the carburetor ensures that despite contamination of the air filter, excessive enrichment of the mixture does not occur. Engine power remains constant for a longer time. Cleaning the filter becomes necessary only when 80% of its surface is contaminated. In this way, longer work is possible without the need for maintenance procedures.
Carrying strap/Carrying system
STIHL carrying straps with soft padding make work much easier, especially during long-term use. The straps provide great freedom of movement and ensure comfortable and safe work.
Manual fuel pump
The manual fuel pump allows fuel to be delivered to the carburetor by pressing a button. This reduces the number of starter rope pulls needed to start the device after a longer standstill.
Anti-vibration system
The anti-vibration system is used in mechanical devices for green care. Precisely calculated handle zones reduce the transfer of troublesome vibrations generated by the engine and the rotating cutting tool. A significant reduction in the number of vibrations transferred to the handles saves energy and increases work comfort.
Loop handle
The loop handle of brushcutters works perfectly when working in confined spaces, e.g., during finishing work between shrubs. It is the best choice when the use of attachments, such as pole hedge trimmers, is necessary.
Multifunction handle
Multifunction handle: All engine control elements have been integrated into the multifunction handle. This ensures exceptionally easy and safe operation of the device - the hand rests on the handle at all times.
STOP button
After pressing the STOP button, the engine will be switched off. After the engine stops, there is no need to press the button again, as the ignition system automatically returns to its initial position.
