Product Description

This upper sieve is part of the cleaning system in a grain harvester. It sits above the lower sieve and receives the threshed material flow from the grain pan and chaffer. The sieve uses adjustable louvered openings to separate lighter chaff and material other than grain from the heavier grain kernels, which fall through to the clean-grain auger. A worn or incorrectly adjusted sieve allows grain loss out the rear of the machine or returns excessive material to the cleaning fan. This component is manufactured to match the original sieve’s louver geometry and frame dimensions, ensuring it seats correctly in the sieve shoe without binding or gaps that would bypass material.
