This hydraulic filter element removes particulate contamination from the oil circulating in the tractor's hydraulic system. It is installed in the filter housing within the hydraulic circuit, positioned to capture debris before the oil reaches the pump and control valves. A clogged element forces the system's bypass valve to open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate, which accelerates wear on pumps and actuators. As an original-manufacturer component, its sealing surfaces and bypass-valve cracking pressure are matched to the housing design, ensuring the filter maintains proper flow restriction and filtration efficiency. Replace the housing seal and torque the cover to specification during installation.
