This friction disc is the driven plate inside the clutch assembly of the host tractor. It transmits torque from the engine flywheel to the transmission input shaft through friction contact with the pressure plate and flywheel face. The disc’s splined inner bore engages the transmission input shaft, and its friction linings are sized to the clutch housing’s working diameter. Wear on the linings reduces clamping force, leading to slip under load and eventual loss of drive. This component is manufactured to the original geometry so that the spline engagement and friction-face contact match the factory clutch pack, eliminating the need for shimming or adapter rings during replacement.
