This hydraulic pump generates the oil flow that powers the tractor's implement lift, steering, and auxiliary circuits. It is mounted on the engine block and driven by a gear or shaft from the timing train. The pump draws fluid from the reservoir through a suction line and delivers it at a regulated pressure to the control valves and downstream actuators. A worn pump produces a noticeable drop in lift speed and steering response, often accompanied by whine or chatter from the hydraulic system. This original-manufacturer unit is machined to the same displacement and port geometry as the pump it replaces, so the mounting bracket and drive coupling align without modification. On installation, ensure the suction line is clean and the drive coupler is fully engaged before filling the system.
