This hood mounting kit provides the fasteners and hardware needed to secure the hood assembly to the tractor chassis. The kit includes washers, a knob, a screw, and a latch, which together allow the hood to be opened and closed while maintaining a firm closed position. A worn or missing latch can cause the hood to vibrate or open unexpectedly during operation. As an original AGCO part, the latch and screw are formed to the same geometry as the factory assembly, so the hood aligns correctly with the cab and grille without shimming.
