This condenser is the heat-exchange component in the tractor’s air-conditioning loop. It receives high-pressure, high-temperature refrigerant vapor from the compressor and cools it to a liquid state before it passes to the expansion valve and evaporator. The condenser is mounted ahead of the engine radiator, relying on airflow from the cooling fan and vehicle motion to remove heat from the refrigerant. A damaged or clogged condenser reduces system pressure and cooling capacity, leading to warm cab air and elevated compressor discharge temperatures. The part is built to the original geometry so it aligns with the mounting brackets and fan shroud without modification. On replacement, recover the refrigerant charge, replace the receiver-drier, and evacuate the system before recharging to the specified weight.
