A worn or incorrectly sized washer reduces clamping force, leading to clutch slip and premature facing wear. This original AGCO component is machined to the same thickness and flatness as the factory-installed part, so no shimming or adjustment is needed during replacement. On reinstall, clean the mating surfaces and verify the release-bearing clearance.
