It is driven by the engine via a belt and pulley; this version is supplied without the pulley, so the existing pulley must be transferred during installation. The pump sits at the front of the engine and moves coolant from the radiator into the block, then back to the radiator for heat rejection. A failing pump typically produces a coolant leak from the weep hole or a bearing noise that becomes audible at idle. As an original AGCO part, the housing casting matches the original seal bore geometry, which prevents coolant bypass and ensures the impeller clearance is correct for the specified flow rate. On reinstallation, use a new gasket and torque the mounting bolts to the engine manufacturer's specification.
